Frank Myers Auto Names Eddie Long Top Sales Pro For August Of 2012

Frank Myers Auto Maxx is pleased to announce Mr. Eddie Long as “Top Sales Associate” for the month of August 2012. Eddie is a veteran of the Frank Myers Auto Family, having obtained Certified status at the Winston Salem used car dealership more than 7 years ago.

Long was selected as August 2012 Non-Commissioned Sales Pro of the month for his dedication to going above and beyond the call of duty and his award-winning accomplishments in the automotive solutions department. What he likes best about working at Frank Myers Auto Maxx is helping people ride home in the vehicle of their dreams when other dealers couldn’t help at all. Eddie also mentioned how much he enjoyed educating consumers on how to overcome credit obstacles.

Mastermind of Possibilities at Frank Myers Auto, Bruce Roffey, stated “There is no one in our dealership that deserves this honor any more than Eddie.  He has become our top sales professional for the months of June and July and we are all proud of him. His commitment, professionalism, and loyalty to his profession make it a joy for all of his teammates to be around him on a daily basis.”

Credit Miracle Worker, Rich Little, stated “Eddie is an important part of our team. He is not only a fantastic solutions provider but also a leader. It is no surprise to me that he made sales pro of the month. If he continues to be as great as he was in August, I would expect him to be the sales pro of the year in 2012.”

Fantastic Fall

Labor Day is here! For me that means the end of summer and the beginning of my favorite season, fall.

September brings good things. Happy things. Fall things.

With the first cool, crisp breeze arrives that feeling of anticipation . . . tailgates, pumpkin patches, tricks and treats and a lot of really delicious things to eat. Ok, that’s my attempt at fall poetry. There’s a reason I’m not a poet.

Ok, back to blogging . . . poetry and car dealers don’t mix.

Fall 2012 is sure to be better with some planning, as is anything in life and of course, we all want our fall to be fantastic, don’t we?

So here’s my . . .

5 Ways To Make Fall 2012 Fantastic!

Idea #1: REVEL IN THE LEAVES

Plan a trip to enjoy the leaves. It would be a shame to wake up on a cold winter morning and realize that you didn’t take the time to savor the beautiful fall foliage while it lasted. Plan a day to drive or fly somewhere breathtaking where fall’s bounty is apparent. You won’t regret it. And if you just can’t get away, there is one small thing you can do to enjoy the leaves in another way, JUMP IN A PILE!

Idea #2: FOOTBALL FUN

For some of you, this suggestion is a complete waste of time because you live and die by the football season. If I’m describing you, skip right to the apples. For the rest of you, why not go to a live football game this year? Root for a team, munch on hot dogs, drink a Coke and travel back to a simpler time. Become a cheering fan in a stadium—local homecoming games are an economical way to enjoy football, or travel back to your alma mater to attend a college game. And if watching football is the last thing you feel like doing, why not get in the action yourself? Organize an impromptu game of touch football in your neighborhood. What a great way to get to know your neighbors!

Idea #3: APPLES A PLENTY

Plan a visit to the Apple Orchard. Apple picking is an ideal way to unwind and unplug from today’s hectic schedules and technology overload. Then enjoy the result of your private harvest for weeks after. Can’t you just smell the home-baked apple pie? Or the cider stewing on the stove?

Idea #4: HALLOWEEN HYSTERIA

Why not organize a Halloween get together this year? Make your house the “spot” that everyone wants to stop! Oh no, back to rhyming. Geesh. Halloween is the ideal time to get creative and wow your friends with a unique Halloween costume. If you come up with a plan now, you won’t fall victim to the “last minute I don’t know what to do or what to dress up as” syndrome. Avoid attending the same lame party this year. Make your bash so much fun that people will talk about it for years to come!

Idea #5: Dixie Classic Fair

Attending the Dixie Classic Fair is a Winston Salem tradition that has been around since 1882. Why break this tradition of family-fun now? Gather the family and head to the Dixie Classic Fairgrounds to enjoy the day riding rides, eating lots of unhealthy food and visiting the petting zoo.

Now that you have a plan to make this fall fantastic, you can enjoy this last weekend of summer!!!

Until next time, I’m Tracy Myers and I’m looking out for YOU!

Summer Comes To An End At Frank Myers Auto

Time marches on and summer is fast slipping away. Goodbye lazy days of summer; hello crazy days of back to school, back to work and back to business. I hope all of you enjoyed a vacation, a siesta or at the very least a sleepy Sunday spent in pajamas this summer. As Sam Keen said so eloquently, “Deep summer is when laziness finds respectability.” Now it’s time to pack up lazy, pick up the pace and look forward to the start of a new season.

Fall is always a little exciting. There is so much to look forward to . . . cooler temperatures, big breezes, football games, the holiday season, and a return to routine. Fall is cozy and predictable like my favorite old sweater!

Here are a few things you can do to prepare for a smooth transition from relaxed to recharged this August . . .

1. Make a plan—spend a few hours figuring out what you want to accomplish this fall. The busy days ahead will be much more manageable with a plan in place.

2. Schedule appointments—make sure and visit your dentist, doctor, chiropractor, dermatologist, and whoever else you need to visit to stay healthy in the months ahead.

3. Donate—clean out your closets and drawers to make room for organization. Spend a few hours giving away things you don’t need to charity. It will help you and help others while keeping your house organized this fall.

4. Health break—take a few days to cleanse your body. Drink water instead of soda. Choose fruit over candy. Skip fried foods and fill your plate with healthy choices like brown rice, lean meat and salad. Healthy eating will give you the physical boost you need to approach fall with muster.

5. Sleep well—go to bed a little bit earlier so that you can wake up well rested in the morning. Keep nighttime distractions to a minimum. Invest in new sheets and a high-quality pillow. Happy nights make for happy mornings.

Follow these tips to keep the demands of fall from sneaking up on you! I’m planning on doing the same, just as soon as I wrap up one of my super important summer to-do list items . . . taking a summer siesta. ZZZZZZZZZ.

There shall be eternal summer in the grateful heart. ~Celia Thaxter
